What to Expect After a Wasp Service:
1. THE FIRST 2-4 Days (3-6 in Cold Weather)
It’s normal to observe similar activity levels around the nest during this time. This activity is typically from foraging wasps returning to the nest.
The product I applied is not an immediate "knockdown" solution. Instead, it is a residual treatment designed to work over time. Worker wasps will be exposed to the product and carry it inside the nest, effectively delivering it to the queen and her eggs. This ensures a thorough and permanent eradication of the colony.
2. TIMELINE OF RESULTS
After 4 Days (6 in cold weather): Activity will noticeably decrease as the product begins to take effect.
Up to 2 Weeks (3 in cold weather): Hatchlings may continue to emerge sporadically. These are newly matured wasps coming out of their pupal stage. They will be exposed to the treatment and expire shortly after emerging.
By 3 Weeks (4 in cold weather): The nest should be fully eradicated, and you should no longer see any wasp activity.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not remove the nest until you have observed no activity for at least 1 week. Premature removal can disrupt the treatment process and put you at risk of being stung.
